Worcestershire Youth Music Festival

6th November 2011

This event was the highlight of our year. It illustrated why our charity continues its hard work.

120 youngsters, from 5 years of age to 17, worked hard and played hard during the day using their own talents to produce a spectacular concert before an invited audience at the end of the day.

Clare Jakeman, who is 17 and is now in her 5th year with the Worcestershire Youth Brass Band playing the Tuba and Clarinet composed and wrote the band parts for an inspiring piece of music which received its World Premiere in the concert called ‘Brassbound’

Local Banding World Enthusiasts

The Wychavon Festival of Brass held its Annual General Meeting on Thursday 5th April 2012.

    Val Trim became the chairman of the board and she was very pleased to four new trustees to the committee. This means that we can look forward to a bright future.
