Our young composer this year is Becky Nottingham who wrote “The March of the Celts” which received its World Premiere at the Worcestershire Youth Music Festival
The Worcestershire Youth Music Festival took place in the Evesham High School, Four Pools Road, Evesham on Sunday 22nd November 2009 with over 100 students of Brass Band music taking part. Their ages were from 8 to 18 and a number of oldies helped with the workshops.
